This notice covers this website and the Muezzin waitlist. The Muezzin app at app.muezzin.org will have its own notice when it launches.
Who we are
Muezzin (“we”) runs muezzin.org and is responsible for your information. Contact us any time at salaam@muezzin.org.
What we collect, and why

That’s all. There are no cookies on this website, no analytics and no advertising. We don’t track whether you open or click our emails. Fonts and images all load from muezzin.org itself.
Who else handles it
The waitlist is kept by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which stores it and sends our emails on our behalf. Brevo stores data in the European Union and may only use it on our instructions. You can read Brevo’s privacy policy.
We never sell or share your email address with anyone else.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist: until you unsubscribe, or until a month after the launch email is sent — whichever comes first. If the app never launches, we’ll delete the list.
- If you don’t confirm your email, you’re never added to the list and we send you nothing further.
- Server logs: up to 14 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. You can withdraw consent at any time — every email has an unsubscribe link, or just email salaam@muezzin.org. We’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this notice changes, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email address, we’ll tell you before it takes effect.
